My favorite Bible passage, in which Moses sees the Lord's hind parts. Put me in a hotel room with the Gideons and a set of watercolors and there's no telling what might happen.

Downspout

When we woke up to the rain Saturday, there was a stream of water splashing onto the ground outside our widow.  The rain gutter had a :( directly over our room, and it was making Mary unhappy.  We looked into changing rooms, but decided to stick.

Dream Image

Networked 3 by 4 orbitally deployed alien or enemy units copy

Networked 3 by 4 Orbitally Deployed Alien or Enemy Units

We were at the seashore, and it was a clear night. Ghostly vertical contrails to the left. A sudden silent fall of these jobs, out of the sky, closely spaced, blanketing the earth. One hits me on the noggin, it’s startling but doesn’t really hurt, just bounces off me onto the ground.

The core disk is a processor/sensor/sender/receiver cluster, and the three stiff radial wires terminating in crosses act as antennae and serve to orient the units horizontally.

The chips are logical and functional, but their architecture and design are radically different from anything anybody has ever seen. The wireless signals are similarly unrecognizable. Isotope analysis of the IC units reveals an uncharacteristic ratio of 28Si to 29Si to 30Si, with an odd spike in abundance of 32Si, and lacking the expected resulting bump in 32P (from beta decay of 32Si) impurity.

These things fell all over the earth, spaced about a meter apart, all at the same time. They’re mostly inert, their only activity seems to be communicating with each other in that strange unknown code. There have been no credible claims of origin.

Where did they come from? What are they up to?

Dream induced head-wound

The next day, and for the following week, I had this strange sore on my head, just where the thing had hit me in my dream.

#MomentousOccasion (I’ll try to keep this pithy and to the point. Don’t be creepy.)

Stag's Lunchette - Oakland, CA

A couple weeks ago, I was doing my weekly Friday gig at Ward 93 at SF General.  Looking forward to that evening when Mary & I were going to see the live Jordan, Jesse GO! show in San Francisco. My cell rang, and it was Mary. She was on her way to work, had taken a bad fall, was hurt on 17th Street in Oakland, and couldn’t walk or even stand. She needed me to come help her get to Kaiser ER.

I whiteknuckled it to Oakland, first on the 33, then on BART.  All this time I’m thinking OMG OMG OMG, she’s sitting on a curb in Oakland, immobile and in pain, what could possibly go wrong, right? I picked up a cab at 12th St, told the guy that I needed to get to the 300 block of 17th St, and found her in front of Stag’s Lunchette. Sitting on a bench. We got her into the cab, took her to ER, they took care of her, and we cabbed home.

Mary & I had to miss the show that night, of course. We spent the evening switching out the ice packs and scowling at the crutches that they gave her at ER. But today, I heard the podcast of that show.

That night, Stephanie, the chef at Stag’s was a contestant at the JJGO show. She totally should have won the word mispronunciation contest. What a burn! They so obviously gave it to Kyle out of pity. Anyway, Stephanie, I’d like to thank you, or whoever it is that put that bench out in front of the Lunchette, for providing my best beloved a place to sit in her hour of need. I’ve got a new favorite lunch spot in Oakland.

Cut-up Text

The woman in the seat in front of mine on BART the other night was reading an article. I could only see the upper right corner of the printout she was reading, so that’s all that I was able to copy down.

Virginity and chastity was relations intentional protection for conditions of oppression that things of those who relationships working class essentially intact.  In order to ”feminine” make a list to justify relations. Working class and allegedly competence, and human class and poor white women are also luxury of being categories representing all men and only a small group. Applied to different they do not appear to actually becoming a part of someone else’s by the same move forward to new.
