Strassen von Oakland (oder Eichenland if You Prefer) am Samstag
Black hooded night heron. Jackson St near post office.
Bad bowl. 14th St near Franklin
Mandala (Motherland Colors) Broadway at 24th
Also went to see the Silence show at BAM with Tim, then saw Silver Linings Playbook at the Parkway with Mary. Kind of a busman’s ‘oliday, that.
Bought a new square sketchbook, at the Ink Stone in Berkeley. I’m so happy.

BART Map
This was my first attempt at doing watercolor out in public, with my waterbrush and little Winsor & Newton 8-pan set. Plein-air painting on the BART train, Friday Morning. The guy next to me was very kind about it, didn’t mind me a bit. I really like this.
I'm really looking forward to doing a lot of this in Mexico. 3/4 of my bag is filled with art supplies.
