I propose that the new owners of 1401 Jackson St, as a demonstration of their neighborly good faith, invite the neighborhood to movie night: They get a projector and screen a movie on their building from this parking lot that's across 14th St from it. People could come in their cars, or bring lawn chairs or bikes.
