Now he'll be one with the earth. If we're going to be one with anything, earth is a pretty good choice, especially in a redwood grove. His body will turn into redwood. They live for hundreds of years. Then they, too, become one with the earth, and turn into new trees, and so on. And so he'll never be completely dead. No one will. We just become part of new and different life. Life goes on.
