In her shop on 12th St. I stopped by to thank her for the haircut today, and to tell her that I was getting the bump removed, and she was just so glad.

Ms Holmes is my barber. Has been for years. She cut my hair yesterday, and whenever I get a haircut, the cyst on the side of my head becomes much more visible.

So as it turns out, today I had to go see Dr Stumpf (my internist at Kaiser) about my blood-sugar levels. But when he saw what was growing out my head, he requisitioned a lumpectomy.

I've had this bump on my head for as long as I can remember. Never did a thing for me. I'll be glad when it's gone. Thanks, Ms Holmes! Thanks, Dr Stumpf!

In the hallway that leads to our apartment. That hallway also leads to the laundry room, so occasionally somone will lose something and it stays where it dropped until the person who lost it, or Eddis, picks it up. So these bloomers and a single black sock turned up the other day. Alright. No mystery there.

Then, yesterday, the underpants were gone, but the sock remained. I'm having a hard time seeing that scenario.

Everything's falling apart.  My video camera's got the heebie-jeebies, my F:\ drive has gone Alzheimers, and my bike has the arthritis of the crank and is throwing spokes right and left.

So today I took my bike to the shop where I bought it. Bay Area Bikes. They were excellent; fixed it all up, free of charge. While they worked on it, I had the opportunity to have a contemplative burrito and put my problems in perspective.

I don't know why I hate Albertsons, but I do. Going there always makes me feel like a chump. Maybe that has something to do with why I dislike it so.
